To produce a film poster for the film ROMANS, starring Orlando Bloom based off an award winning short.

Tidy was approached by the production company behind The film ROMANS, starring Orland Bloom and based off an award winning short film, to design their key artwork. The story is a dark tale set in northern England and centres around a complex character called Malky who has been abused by a priest. The climax of which is the priest setting fire to himself, following the acceptance and forgiveness from Malky himself. With all this to play with, we had a lot of brilliant inspiration to draw on, the religious element, the darkness, fire and the strong and impactful figure of Orlando / Malky. As visible in the artwork, this all combined to make an incredibly striking image, that not just represents the film but intrigues and engages the audience to what to know more. This cut through is key in what is a very difficult and crowded  market place for films, and we have every confidence that the production will be a success when released later in 2018.
